How to Anoint (Biblical Anointing Guide)

Anointing is a sacred act of consecration, healing, and empowerment. Here’s how to do it properly:

Prepare Spiritually – Approach with a pure heart, pray for God’s guidance, and ensure you are in alignment with His will (James 5:16).
Choose the Oil – Use olive oil or anointing oil that has been prayed over. The oil symbolizes the Holy Spirit (Exodus 30:25).
Pray Over the Oil – Dedicate the oil to God, asking Him to use it as a vessel for healing, protection, or consecration (1 Samuel 16:13).
Apply the Oil – Place a small amount of oil on your finger and anoint by touching the forehead or the area needing healing while making the sign of the cross (if desired).
